Places should be snapped up in a few minutes. One of the most famous boy bands, which marked an entire generation in the 1990s, is back in Paris. As part of its world tour, the Backstreet Boys group announced on Tuesday that it would add three dates in Europe, including one in Paris, at the Accor Arena, on October 8.

To have a chance to see on stage, in France, the most “selling” boy band in history, with more than 130 million records sold around the world, you will have to warm up your computer or mobile phone this Friday morning. Indeed, according to the Live Nation site which manages the ticket office for the Accor Arena, the sale of tickets to hear again “As long as you love me” will begin at 10 a.m. To increase their chances, fans will be able to access presales this Thursday at 10 a.m.

The five singers, Brian Littrell, Nick Carter, Kevin Richardson, Howie Dorough and A. J. McLean had already (re) seduced their French fans three years ago with a concert in the same place. They had ignited the public by chaining 33 titles, from their oldest hits to the sounds of their latest albums. Because in almost 30 years of career (in 2023), they have almost never stopped producing, except for a short break in the early 2000s.

A French public who has not always had the chance to see them frequently. If the club of five had come for an event concert at the Zénith de Paris in 2014, it had been 15 years since they had performed on the territory. Because as a fan told us before entering the room, “I have aged, I no longer have posters in my room, but I continue to listen to them”. On social networks, the huge community of fans reacted enthusiastically to this announcement.

“I can’t take it anymore, since the Backstreet Boys haven’t returned to Paris. I’m so happy ! I had started a shitty day, now I’m too happy” , wrote Tristan on Twitter. “My childhood dream to see them on stage! exclaims Inès on the same social network.

For those who do not get the famous sesame, two additional dates have just been announced in Manchester (England) or Antwerp (Belgium).
