La Start-up camerounaise de services numériques et de services d’ingénierie informatique, Philjohn Technologies, a annoncé ce 23 juillet 2019 à Yaoundé l’ouverture de 20% de son capital équivalent à 2 000 parts. La valeur d’une part est estimée à 350€ soit 230 000 F.Cfa.

Philjohn Technologies indique dans un communiqué que la valeur de la start-up post évaluation est estimée à 3,5 Millions € soit 2,3 Milliards XAF. « Une valeur qui d’après les estimations des experts financiers va connaitre une croissance de X5 à X10 dans les cinq prochaines années », indique la startup dirigée par Philippe Nkouaya.
Avec ces fonds, Philjohn Technologies prévoit de construire un centre de formation d’excellence sur les technologies de Data Management (BI & Big DATA). « L’objectif étant de pouvoir créer de la valeur compétencielle locale afin de pouvoir la vendre à l’international et aussi de réaliser au minima la formation de 500 personnes chaque année », indique le communiqué.
La start-up ambitionne également de se déployer dans la sous-région Afrique centrale avec à la clé la création de 30 emplois directs et 200 indirects sur trois ans, afin de répondre aux
besoins de sa clientelle
Philjohn Technologies développe de multiples activités. La start-up propose le consulting dans les domaines du management de données, du déploiement d’ERP ou encore le conseil stratégique et la Business Intelligence.
